Anticipation

Proverbs 13:12 (KJV) – “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick; but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.”

Some people do not understand what anticipation is because we currently live in a society of the here and now (a world of “I Want it Now”).  God wants us to live each day in anticipation.  A life of anticipating the exchange of our earthly bodies for a body that is imperishable.  He wants us to live a lifestyle of waiting for the heavenly event that will take us from this fallen world to our eternal home.  Therefore, focus on the things that are to come.  Let us focus on being saved, staying saved, and committing our life to God.
Anticipation is what makes relationships great!  Go back to the memory of your first time falling in love with Jesus. There is no love like your first love!  In your anticipation, there is the long awaited suspense about the fulfillment of your expectations. The longer it takes to happen, the more you will appreciate it. So we can’t live a Holy Life in fear because fear is nothing but the anticipation of pain and torment that can be either physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.  The “Messiah” himself was anticipated for a long time. He was a promise to us all that we waited for in “Anticipation!”
What are you anticipating? (Please provide your comments below)
Matthew 6:33 (KJV) -“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
