Life moves in seasons. Some are bursting with new beginnings; full of joy, opportunity, and answered prayers. Others feel like long winters, where the ground looks barren and nothing seems to be moving forward. And then there are those in-between seasons that are steady, quiet, and stretching your faith in ways you didn’t expect.

No matter which season we find ourselves in, one thing remains constant: God is still worthy of praise.

It’s easy to lift our hands and sing when everything is going well. But praise becomes powerful when it’s intentional in the hard seasons. Those times when we worship not because we feel like it, but because we know Who He is. Hebrews 13:15 reminds us to “continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips that openly profess His name.” That means our praise shouldn’t be seasonal; it should be steadfast and unwavering.

On this past Sunday, Elder Sabrina said, “Pain is a portal to God’s presence. ” In the seasons that bring heartache, loss, or disappointment, our pain can actually become the place where we encounter Him more deeply. When we bring our pain into His presence and praise Him there, we’re allowing Him to transform it into intimacy, healing, and renewed strength.

While Bishop Adams also reminds us, “Don’t let what you’re going through now make you lose focus and lose hope on the promises of God. ” Seasons will pass, but His promises will remain. Don’t allow the weight of this moment make you forget what He has spoken over your life.

In the high seasons, praise keeps us humble. In the low seasons, praise keeps us hopeful. In the waiting seasons, praise keeps us anchored. And in the painful seasons, praise ushers us right into the arms of the Father.

When we choose to maintain a posture of praise, we’re declaring Lord, I trust You in this season and in the one to come. Praise shifts our perspective, reminding us that seasons change, but God’s goodness never does.

No matter what season you’re in, don’t drop your praise. Praise when you understand and praise when you don’t. Praise when the promise is fulfilled and praise while it’s still on the way.

Because your praise is the proof that you still believe and it’s the sound that tells the enemy I will not be moved!
