  • Beginning this week, NCLM attendees can take advantage of FREE cds from previous services for a limited time only.  You may take only one of each; additional copies are $5.00 each.  For more info, see media ministry personnel.
  • Every Sunday in September, families can enjoy a FREE kid’s meal with the purchase of a burrito, bowl, order of tacos or salad at Chipotle.  Offer valid for children ages 12 and under.  For more info, go to https://chipotle.com
  • On September 6, the Enoch Pratt Library will be showing “Miracles from Heaven” at 5:30 pm.  FREE! For more info, go to http://calendar.prattlibrary.org
  • Also on September 6, tickets go on sale for The Polar Express train ride at The B&O Railroad Museum.  Chefs will serve attendees hot chocolate and cookies as they listen to The Polar Express.  Although the events do not take place until November, tickets are on sale now.  For more info, go to www.borail.org
  • Every Monday through December 26, Teavolve is hosting open mic night for singers and aspiring singers.  Sign up takes place between 6 and 7p.m. The audience consists of people ages 4 to 80, as this is a family friendly event.  For more info, go to http://www.ilyaimy.com
  • September 6 through October 16, take advantage of Educator Appreciation Days at Ripley’s Believe It or Not.  Ripley attractions will be FREE for educators in Maryland who bring their photo ID and current pay stub.  Educators may bring no more than 5 guests with them who will receive 50% off their admission.  For more info, go to http://www.ripleys.com
  • On September 10, the Akimbo Dance and Movement Art Festival is taking place in the Charles Street/North Avenue area.  Admission is FREE.  For more info, go to www.akimbobaltimore.com
  • Also on September 10, The Reginald F. Lewis Museum is sponsoring The Family Reunion Expo.  Bring the entire family and enjoy food samples from caterers, hotel and vendor information, genealogy experts and live entertainment.  FREE! For more info, go to http://lewimuseum.org
  • On September 11, the Catonsville Arts and Crafts Festival will take place at 700-900 Frederick Road from 10-5 p.m.  There will be more than 256 vendors offering handmade, one-of-a-kind creations.  In addition, there will be a wide array of food, live entertainment, and children’s activities.  For more info, go to www.baltimorecountymd.gov

  • On September 15, beginning at 6 p.m., checkout Green Tea, a female singer whose artistry is a fusion of gospel, jazz, blues, and opera at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum.  Cost: $10.00  For more info, go to http://lewismuseum.org
  • On September 17, T. Rowe Price in Owings Mills is sponsoring a Free Community Shredding Event.  The hours are 8-11 a.m. and participants may bring no more than 4 bags of documents.  Rain or shine, this event will take place.  For more info, call (410) 243-3790.
